Monique Pean Scarf Obama 2012 Campaign Sustainable Scarf

The Obama 2012 Campaign is getting into sustainable fashion. The campaign has chosen to use a soft lightweight jersey knit made from sustainable blend of  hemp and cotton fabric for scarves that are being sold on the official website. The scarves designed by Michelle Obama’s personal designer Monique Pean. The fabric, provided by EnviroTextiles is made of 55% sustainable hemp and 45% certified organic cotton. The scarfs are cut and sewn in the USA.

The eco scarf is $95 and you can get it here.

It’s encouraging to see the President putting though into the environment and using sustainable material. This makes us very happy!
