Nanette Lepore & Save The Garment Center On Project Runway All-Stars

Nanette Lepore Fabric Project Runway All Stars Dress

Garment Center advocate Nanette Lepore was  the guest judge on Project Runway All-Stars episode 10. She challenged the designers to create a garment that factored in the costs of real-life domestic production: fabric, supplies, factory labor (cutting & sewing), and general overhead while using fabrics from Nanette’s studio.

The winning look above, designed by Monda Guerra was produced by four manufacturers in New York City’s Garment Center. The dress was sold out in 48 hours and  100% of the profits will go to Save the Garment Center!
